Directory Legend:

This is a description of what certain directory terms mean, like the atmosphere of a restaurant, and how we come to decisions, like the average cost of a restaurant.

Atmosphere Legend: The atmosphere refers to the level of dress one might expect to find in an establishment.  We have decided to keep our categories to a minimum, so they are general.

• ChiChi
  You might want to wear a suit and tie.
• Slick
  Jeans are okay, but Guys, throw on a nice button down or blazer, and Gals, a nice blouse and heels.  Make sure your clothes are clean and leave the cut-off shorts at home.
• Casual
  T-shirts and jeans are fine, but you might want to make sure that they don’t smell.  You probably don’t want to show up in your bathing suit.
• SuperCas
  Nearly anything (legal) goes.

Average Cost Per Entree: Whenever possible, we take the highest and lowest priced main course and calculate the average.  We then round to the nearest $5 interval.  So, if a restaurants highest and lowest entree cost is $33.95 and $9.95, the average would be around $21.95 and we would round that to $20.

Browsers and Resolution:

In case you are unaware, the bane of most webmaster’s existence is the fact that the most popular web browsers render websites differnetly, requiring a great deal of testing to make sure that most people can view a website as it was intended to be viewed.  This site was tested in the 2 primary browsers used on the Internet: Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE).  With that said, our primary focus was to cater to Firfox as IE is notorious for not being a standards compliant browser.

The layout of this site should work just fine in IE.  However, there are some functions that employ standard HTML and CSS that Internet Explorer does not support.  We have done our best to compensate for the poor programming and standards deviation of IE, but we would suggest that all web surfers download and install the free and far superior Firefox web browser.  You can download the software here: FireFox Web Browser.

This site was tested primarily on monitors set to a resolution of 1024 pixels by 768 pixels.
