SRQScene Joins the MySpace Revolution - September 30th, 2008

Well, we finally did it.  We have created our very own MySpace profile.  If you have a minute and want another friend in the MySpace world, please feel free to visit us.

“Super Soft” Launch - The weekend of Sept 6th, 2008

In the hotel industry, a Soft Opening is an opening the precedes the Grand Opening.  The Soft Opening allows for limited guests and can be used to address any issues prior to opening for full business.  This week, SRQScene had its Super Soft Launch.  Basically, we made the site available without advertising it.  Over subsequent weeks, we monitor the site and field suggestions from those who happen upon it.  We address any issues and fine tune any “glitches”.  Shortly after our Super Soft Launch, we will have a Soft Launch where we will invite a limited number of people to visit the site.  Finally, a few weeks after the Soft Launch, we plan to sponsor a Grand Launch.  Keep your ear to the ground for our Grand Launch as we are planning some events to liven up the nights.

Musicians Directory Submission - The week of July 27th 2008

The week of July 27th, we finished our musician directory submission form and database and we finished our restaurant and bar search form.  These 2 tools are crucial to the next step of creating an events calendar and we will be investing considerable energy in populating the directories and verifying the information.
